Meet Maurice Derrick
Greetings! I am Maurice Derrick, born and raised in Batesburg-Leesville, SC, and a resident of Columbia for the past 33 years. My wife, LaTonya, and I are the proud parents of 2 daughters.
Upon graduation from The University of SC, I began my nearly 30-year career in the financial industry as a commercial lender with Bank of America. I have worked in the banking industry as a Community Reinvestment Coordinator and SC Mortgage Broker. I am a licensed Residential Builder and my family’s “on-call handy man” whenever needed.
Passionate, Honesty, Product Knowledge and Customer Service are a few traits of a good insurance agent. Over the past 20 years with the Carolina Insurance Group, I have embodied these traits by putting my clients first and maintaining a high level of professionalism.
